Well, my company has been kind enough to give us 2 weeks off at Christmas, so my 3 year old boy and I are taking a road trip! Im looking for a New Holland, and they can hardly be found in the South. I've found a bunch on a popular equipment website, so we are going to strike out to get one. He loves farms / tractors/ equipment, so I'm sure I can keep him entertained. We might even find a dairy farm or something neat to visit. Most of the equipment seems to be in Ohio or Kentucky. I don't know where we'll end up, but it will sure be a good trip for us together.

What model.. the old sycle bar haybindes are going to the scraper fast and disk mower versions are plentifull around Tennessee .. what model and what do you want to spend..Might make a call or so for you.

From previous advice, I"ve been looking at a 488 or 489, sickle type, being that its only 20 acres. I"ve gotta a Fella 9" disc mower (needs a $1600 gear box) for some custom grass hay cutting I do for bigger acreage. This P-Nut hay is high dollar stuff with the dairy goat and god-love-them horse people, and I need it top notch. Thank you Keith and Jm for your offers of help. I guess if I had a "discbine" I could use it on my grass fields too. I"ve got a Vermeer 604j baler I"d make a trade on.
