Spark Plug Application Chart(s)

I"m trying to find a site that will let you specify a brand of spark plug and the number of the plug and it will tell you what it works in. I"m currently trying to find what an Autolite 4316 plug will work in.

You probably can't find it all in one place.

If you go to each manufacturer (for example <a href="http://www.autolite.com/learn_more/technical_documents/tech_specs">Autolite</a> you get stuff like their <a href="http://www.autolite.com/sites/default/a/uploads/en/autolite5_ce7_1217.pdf">Commercial and lift truck cross list</a> (where I found my JD 3020, for example) or their <a href="http://www.autolite.com/sites/default/a/uploads/en/auto_crossref_0311.pdf">automobile cross list</a>. They have others at the first link for motorcycles, watercraft, etc.

You'd probably have to go to each manufacturer for a complete list, and it's tedious to search each list (bikes, tractors, jet-skis, etc) if you have no idea what it fits.

your answer is sparkplugs.com. they don't list every plug ever made but have most of the big five covered and have application charts too! they automatically discount the prices after certain volume. i bought mostly $2.50 plugs but was charged $2.08 for most. cost you nothing to look, but some of the searches on their pages get difficult untill you spend some time back and forth.............thumbs-up!
