00 bravada transmission rebuild

2nd tranny in a year. ive done th350s before, how much worse would it be to overhaul this one myself? keeps losing reverse, and loses upshifting. any good advice appreciated.

Hi,

From the center section on back, internally they're still pretty much the same as the old 350s with the exception that your outfit uses a somewhat "lightweight" low-reverse clutch.

From there forward tho, they are a different bird entirely.

4L60E shares a lot with a 700R4. Theres more to it, but similar to an old 350. What ever you do, be sure to back and forward flush the cooler. If there's any debris in the cooler, you don't want that in your rebuild/replacement.
