I was at the neighbors shed when a neighbor from up the hill brought her 2 boys to the pond to fish, The one boy was old enough to fish on his own and the young boy stayed in his wagon and fished from it, the mother was right there keeping a close eye on both of them, Much better than playing a video game! Just another reason for me to say how great is country life!

When we relocated 30+ years ago, we looked for a year for the right spot. Found one on a loop road, quiet neighborhood, everyone looked out for everyone else, and the kids could ride their bikes without fear of being hit by a vehicle. Heck, a third of the traffic on our road is farm tractors!
As you say, there is no place like the country to grow up!
 
Ill agree with that ,but the other boy was a lot older and fishes by himself ,he is around 12 , the little guy stayed right in the wagon and she stated right next to him
 
why not, its not going anywhere. It will not magically turn 90 degrees and roll into the water. If the kid leans to far and it tips over it is no different than a chair.

Could something happen, yes it always can, That is why mom is right there.
 
Bendee I don't think I would like to meet you. Too negative. It never fails whenever a picture is posted SOMEONE will find somethng wrong. Must be boring to live like that. No life?

Nice pictures , I think that the Mother is dong a Grea Job. She is at least letting them enjoy life as was ment to be. See no harm in that.
