Is for folks to start wearing their ribbons.
On your hat, on your chest, somewhere.

Be you a carpenter, mechanic, lawyer, professor, bus driver, preacher or farmer wear your ribbons.
Let the world know that we are no better or worse than any one else.
But we did earn a couple of ribbons.

I no longer have my ribbons stuff got lost in a divorce situation, but I do have my brass collar weights I wear on my cap all the time.

You can do a once in a lifetime deal and get a free set of replacements from your branch of service.
I did it about 10 years ago and found out I was issued two that I didn't know I had gotten.
Be patient!
It took over a year after I sent in the form before they finally arrived.
Look around on this site.

Ya my ribbons have long since been lost and my uniforms also have been lost due to things happening in life. There are times I wish I still had both but getting a uniform is not easy and ya I could ask for my ribbons but then they would probably end up lost over time

I have a friend who wears his combat jump wings on his hat. They never come off the hat, and he never leaves the house without the hat. It's great watching airborne vets stop him while he's out and start talking with him, especially those who served in WWII.

I'm missing 16 medals I earned but was never awarded. I'm more interested in the Veterans discount at Cabela's.

My dad was in WWII and a short time before his death we found out that he had been awarded 4 bronze stars. He just said that he did what he had to do and it was no big deal. My nephew is a lifer in the Marines and he started the ball rolling to get all dads awards for him. It took a long time but we finally got them but unfornetly he died before they came. I would have loved to see him wear them. So anyone can get them replaced but it takes a while

I can understand my OD Ike jacket not fitting, the part that gets me is the soft cap doesn't fit either.

You know what! after reading all the Vet comments on here I went and got into my Sea Bag and ,,,, None of my stuff including my utility caps fit any more.I had a 32" waist while in the Corps and now a 38" refuses to allow any closure to Pants, shirts jackets [never tried the skivvy drawers] LOL.
