saw the post of the Midi... Man I think I could learn to fly a space ship easier than get all those little guys programed to play together with all those buttons and knobs, and sliders. I know what ya mean not as hard for everyone to show up,and sober ;>) Thanks for the pic. Now I know you is smarter than I is...LOL
 
That"s a nice setup there...
I keep trying to go the other way - get the rig smaller and simpler. But, then again I"m just the bass guy/bottom dweller. However, I do have the good fortune to work with some reasonably sober guys around town. Matter of fact, subbing this weekend with a 3 pc group north side of Cincinnati and all the gear including the drums would probably fit in the back of a small suv.
But you have the better payroll deal!
Keep posting the tunes - good stuff.

Boy, I dunno.

I STRONGLY believe that the bass along with a good kick-azz drummer can make or break any outfit in a real hurry....... :>)

These two are often "overlooked", but they are the ones creating the whole environment/foundation for the front guys to wander around in.

Just can't get any better than a three-piece; clarity and definition to the max!

Have a good nite and leave those pretty little waitresses alone. :>)

Yup.... like the 3 pc thing too. And this one has a great drummer - making my life more fun. He has excellent control over his dynamics. The two of us can usually talk over the bass and drums without it sounding squashed, but still have a good level out front.
By the way a lot of guys that have a setup like yours really don"t understand the other instruments they are setting up. You have a nice grip on that. Sounds like a band.

I know,

They use that "pattern" thing. I think that just flat sucks; sounds like a machine with that 'repetitive' thing continually going on.
