didn"t intend to happen, but it did,,traded in my 2003 f-350 p/stroke and made a deal to good to be true, a 2004 dodge 1-ton with 66k,5.9 cummings...like new with 5th set-up....now be nice about the ford and dodge jokes...lol

Nice truck, I have 04 dodge too,bought it new now has 63,000 miles, the only problem had to replace 2 ujoints no grease in them replaced with ones with grease fittings,haul my tractors all the time does a great job, you will be happy.

You will love it. I have a 2001 3500 fwd with over 150,000 miles and haul a 20'goose neck with usually 2 tractors on it such as IH Ms etc. I have hauled over 8000 pay load with plenty of power to spare with the 5.9 cummins and I live in the mountains. Only wish I had a 6 speed instead of a 5 speed tranny.

The Cummins a wonderful engine. I grafted a '98 12V into my 92 Ford along with the NV4500 5speed and transfer case. Made that truck come alive.

Im still a ford guy but that 5.9 is a hard motor to beat. I had an 04 f250 with the 6.0 and got tired of it bein in the shop and payin for repairs so I got rid of it and bought an 01 cummins and havent had problem one. Lots more power and better fuel mileage. the extended cab on my ford was a lot bigger and there are definatly some things I miss about the ford but that cummins makes up for it. When I was lookin the dodge dealers all told me most the time they have a cummins sold before it even hits the lot and that guys dont ususally get rid of them unless they just want a new shiny truck. I think that says somethin to me. Good lookin truck hope yours does you as good as mine has me

i won't hate you for saying that...lol...i still love my other fords that i have...yea,, styling isn't too bad,,,just will miss all the features that my ford had, that aren't in this dodge...
