Could be leaky injectors, they had an issue. I think Chevy has a 7 year 200,000 mile program on those.

Check to see if you are getting fuel in the crankcase oil, that was generally a giveaway that an injector seal had let loose on those, DO NOT drive it if it is putting fuel in the oil, people get peeved when they spend $8000 on new injectors and labor and the motor throws a rod, ask me how I know......

Injectors- it"s covered by warranty, google it up. Had mine done at 160,00. Like you, I just noticed some white smoke at idle- oddly enough, it didn"t really impact driveability or fuel economy.
Print the service bulletin with the injector warranty when you google it....my GM dealer claimed ignorance of the Special Warranty until I showed him it in print...suddenly, he knew all about it.

Yeah, some people are gullable, some just do there jobs. At the time the dealer was the only place to get injectors, they were almost $900 a piece at the time. They are still $668 a piece from NAPA up here. $916 apiece for a 2010....

HI GUYS, I NEW TO THE FORUM. I WORK AT A GM DEALER AND THERE IS A POLICY OUT THERE FOR INJECTOR REPLACMENT. THE AFTERMARKET INJECTORS MAY BE A BAD IDEA,WE HAVE USED THESE INJECTORS TWICE AND THE TRUCK DID NOT LEAVE THE DEALER BEFORE THEY LEAKED AGAIN.ALSO MAY WANT TO HAVE THE RETURN LINES REPLACED UNDER THE VALVE COVERS,THEY CRACK AFTER A BIT AND CAN CAUSE FUEL IN OIL.
