do they still make and sell GREAT BEND loaders? or have they been bought out by another company? cant find any info on them or a web site. thanks

Google search seems to indicate they are now owned by Bush Hog. But Bush Hog website doesn't mention them There seemed to be some sites where you can buy them.

Since they were made locally, we see quite a few used for sale and on auctions. I have an old one on my 4020, two brothers each have newer ones on their 4430s.

rkc9700 Looking for info on GB loaders?
They were built here in Great Bend Ks.
Try kmwloaders.com, some of the employees there where employed at GB loaders. I"m sure they can answer any questions.

As noted already they are part of Bush Hog now. I went through Bush Hog customer service and they sent me a manual, and parts CD no charge.

Good Luck,

Kirk

they were standard equiptment on Mahindra tractors in '02 for sure...you mite check with a Mahindra dealer.
i got one on my '02 6000 and it works great...no problems in the 5 years i've owned it.

Bush Hog bought the rights and started using some of the design about 6 years ago. Then it more interesting amist the BushHog reorganization (Bankrupsie) a group of italians bought the loader portion. They continue to build some units in Alabama and for most part will supply parts for the older great plains loaders.
