How the heck is Blue Bell keeping the ice cream frozen???
Got our call from the electric coop a while ago asking us to turn off all non esential power until after 7. Gee I sure hope we don't end up with rolling blackouts.
 
95° is gonna feel like standing in a bucket of ice water after this summer is over.


I get sick to my stomach driving down the road these days and seeing all the dying trees. I guess I became a tree hugger somewhere along the way.
 
San Bernard Elec COOP went down this mornin for 30 minutes exactly...thot maybe it was a rolling blackout.
 
Downsouth, After the weather we have been having.... Looks like a Cold Front to me. I going to go to the Pickup to get my Jacket!!!! LOL Cute!

OBTW, Guys I call 1 Divs on all the Blue Bell Pistachio Almond Ice Cream, My F350 can carry a Bunch, If we need more hauling capacity,,, We might need to Hi-Jack a couple of B.B. Ice Cream trucks. LOL!

I hope we've turned the corner here in NE Texas.

It has rained here at the farm 3 times in the last 10 days.

Got a slow rain yesterday from 8:30am until 10am.

Local weather lady says 50% chance on Thursday through Saturday.

Finally temps are below 100<sup>o</sup> during the day.

Can even open the windows on the house each morning.
 
Everyday the news broadcasters talk about setting new electrical usage records and ask people to unplug everything they can and conserve to prevent rolling blackouts.

Looking forward to the "big chill" coming late this week. Temps are forecast to be in the mid 90"s instead of 105+.
 
Here is Kansas I am seeing bare ground beneath areas that have had water standing in them for decades. I am thinking it is time to dig some small deep ponds which would help reclaim a portion of the land.
