We're experimenting no till alfalfa with our slit seeder.I've did several athletic fields,lawns,and a few pastures so what the heck it might work.
#1 put seeder on tractor.

Gonna run over it tomorrow with orchard grass in the little brillion.
I'm glad it broke there and not on the other side.I hope all those fillings are hub and key.I haven't checked the main shaft but if it's shoot I got a friend with a machine shop.Gandy probably wants the price of a new machine for it.You think JD nd NH are high on parts you otta buy from them.
 
If they made things now as good as they used to it would have killed the tractor engine before that would have happend. At least if you are in the correct horepower range.
