Your not even close genius. They wont have repair manuals for a 50 year old motor or pump. Tried to contact that site for 400/450 charlynn motor repair that it isnt even funny.

Actually, Stuart, he's real close. Eaton is the outfit that now owns Char Lynn, so its a start.

I don't know!! I down loaded their parts and repair manual for the 217 & 227 series torque generator for a friend to use with 400/450 power steering. He said the manuals have everything in them that he needed to make repairs to his system.

The Char-linn power steering unit can be purchased new and through surplus outlets. So I guess it has full support from the factory. I have always wondered how know nothings become self appointed experts.

I assume you are talking about what has been referred to as a "torque generator" like this one available throught Surplus.

Char-Lynn division of EATON is still making
them, but you will have to search under 'Char-
Lynn', not your tractor make or model.
