Gonna take a shot at uploading a picture of a tractor a friend of mine got and restored. It's a Beauty!! Quite the machine!!
It was originally built in 1966 by a gentleman in Oxbow S.K. It is one of two sets built. The tractors are a 1949 and a 1939 John Deere D joined to have single operator controls and articulated steering.Total engine displacement is 1002 Cu.In.

Back in the early fifties (I think) a man in Canada built the hitches to mount two tractors together. He would make them for any tractors that you wanted it to fit. If you go to the Labor Day weekend at Rollag, Mn. you can see a couple makes set up that way.
