YTMag at tractor shows

Anyone here ever give a thought to putting your YT handle on your paper tag at shows?
Even have your club leave a blank for it?
There are a lot of folks here that after reading their posts for 10 years it would be fun meet in person. While I might not normally spend a lot of time looking at your Allis, JD or Farmall Bs I would for sure stop and talk to someone who I recognized from this board.
This group is pretty big. When you combine all the brands and colors that are represented here it would probably be much bigger than any national group.
A lot of tractor shows coming up in the next month or so. I'll be hitting a few.
Be fun to meet some of your there if I knew who in the heck you were.

That is not a bad idea at all. Although I use my regular name, it definitely would be good to meet many people that I have talked to. Been posting on these boards since 1998 and have always been checking here at least once every few days.

Are you planning on going to the Nowthen Threshing show the 19th-21st? I will be there with the 41 Case SC. Look for me!

I've often wondered why there is no YT tractor show in the first place. The Talers down in the boiler room have a small annual gathering. Not sure if they bring their tractors or not. Well, how 'bout a show for us?

Most of our "Taler Gatherins" are organized just like Ken did down below, by saying Hey lets meet up some place, or Who's all going to ???? show, and then exchange cell phone #s to get in contact at the show, by private e-mail if wanted for security, and then....meet up.

the idea of the show is good. another idea is everyone wear a nametag with their username on it. i know id recognize lots of names at shows.

A suggestion for Kim would be to make up some YT caps and sell them and/or include with parts orders.

I had two different people figure out I was B&D on the weekend. One was the dyno operator who recognized his 2010 results. The other seen me tinkering with the 435 at the pulling track.
I thought it was un-nerving being recognized out in public by strangers. From stage acting at the local theater.
