I just bought an older 1950-56 ford it runs great and has a bucket and scraper blade with live hydrolics. How can I find out what year and model it is, where can I find it on the tractor?

Any help would be great.

If it has live hydraulics it is 1953 or later.

Post a picture and/or the serial number.

The serial number is stamped into the bell housing above and to the rear of the starter.

I have posted a pic in the gallery under unknown the serial # AA96769 the # 7 may not be a 7 and the second # 9 may not be a 9 pretty hard to read any help would be great

If that blue on hood is correct it would be about a 60 to a 64 in either a 2000 or 4000, if that blue is painted over red could be back to a 53-54 NAA, 55 or 56 6XX or 8xx series or 57 to 59 6X1 or 8X1 series. it is not older than a 53 or newer than a 64.

so if this model # naa96769 is correct, and I think it is what model tractor do I have? 2000,4000,600 etc.Where can I find A model identification chart
