Yes that is correct a JD 3020 Gas, hydraulic front wheel drive, orginal paint. Sale price: $36,000. The first JD diesel 4000 tractor. Sale price: $41,000.

I was not there but have seen both tractors and according to Polks results they both were sold as he puts passed if not.The 1st 4000 actually s on E-Bay a while back and I think it didnt meet reserve and was bought by a collector friend of mine.If I got the story right it was on a dairy farm and the owner had no idea what he had until a JD dealership realized it was the 1st one,sounds like about a $30,000 present for him.It was a total original and if it sold Im sure Mr.Keller would have had interest in it.

At the end of the auction Dennis Polk said everything sold and thanked the crowd.
