was not a good day for brush hogging, the bolt that held the pin for the drawbar pizzadeered and let the drawbar slip out, then the blades from the hog came around and whacked it, broke the casting that holds the front of the drawbar, and bent the stump jumper up on one blade end, when I heard the banging and clanging I shut the hog off and raised the lift, only it had threw the bar up ontop of the deck and when i raised it up it front of the hog got bent, so I loaded it up and took it to the shop,
i used the 'yoder forked truck to lift it up on it's nose
on it's nose with everything removed chained to "put-put" the old lift
output shaft seal was leaking as usuall , glad i went ahead and removed the gear box,
the stumhumper in the press i built back in highschool shop class
i removed the 'jumper by drilling two holes and tapping them to 1/2nf thread then used my T-bar puller and it came off like butter, and all the bolts that held the gear box on were loose, but it's not bad for a $500. craigslist find
