Im so lazy

dont no what it is but i cant get motavated to do anything right now cant afford to spend much money for projects but i have lots i can do with out spending money. Does anybody else get like this or am i just plain LAZY? how does one get out of this rutt?
 
I don't remember...Are you married?? If so...just tell wife you don't have anything to do. Box of doughnuts says you'll have something to do in short order!! SWMBO will see to that!!

Yep, nowdays, not spending money means not buying gasoline, so don't go too far too often, decided to cut the cord with the last 'professional', who did as much to my 38-55 Marlin as the machine shop did to my diesel, nothin'. Atleast no money spent with him either, and I have another cool project! Me fixing the lever without ruining it. But since the storms, been getting into housecleaning, in a big way. Getting a truckload of all kinds of stuff to donate to the tornado families, clothes, kitchenware, maybe some furniture, stuff that was going to go in a tag sale or scrounger freinds that come around. And you really think about what you really need, and if the next one hit here, what good will all this stuff do anyone then? House has a full basement... but to be practical with 'important stuff'... the trains.. or atleast part of the layout, might have to go. So go throw your wife's stuff out of your basement and make room for more trains. They say cleaning and giving stuff away makes you feel good.... feels more like picking out your own coffin.....
 
I got so much to do i don't know where to start.
As a result i don't get much done.
The wife has plenty projects she wants me to do but i don't feel like doing them either.
I rather watch the grass grow but for lack of rain the grass aint growing dick all so that got boring.
So now i'm wasting my time replying to your rather silly postwith my silly remarks.LOL

Projects i need to do this short summer.
Build a new shop(in process)
rebuild a diesel engine.
clear pasture tree regrowth.
make hay(if the grass hoppers don't get it first)
sort yearlings.
Hang a bunch of pasture gates.
build 3 mls of new fence.
Rebuild a corral.
Paint the house.
+ another 100 forgotten projects i had planned at one time or another in the past that remain undone.
 
Hunger is a good cure for laziness. A lot of people need a good dose of that and the way things are going, we all might get a little of that.
 
You just finished a project you were pushing on real hard, getting those oats in. Donno what size equipment you were using, but with my equipment, that would have been a task. I"m sure you are tired, beat, and just glad it"s over. Relax, and catch your breath, then look at what"s next. I know what you mean about costs and the next project. I have a couple that need doing, and I"m trying to figure how to get them done cheap. Probably won"t happen. Cheap, that is. Money is tight, and I really am hesitant to get started Just human nature - especially when things are as tight for farmers as they are. I understand.
 
Lyle,I have the same problem-not lazy,just tired or depressed-or both.tired of beeing broke tired of hurtin,tired of....too much work to do-mot enough time...I baled that hay that I cut the other day,now I get to stack it.I was hopeing to take tommorrow off(Sunday),no such luck.I have corn to spray,cultivate,water...plus allthe custom haying....you are not lazy!
 
always need more room for model rr you got to ship that gold you found some way the ore cars or gondolas will be the answer you can always ship the wife on a passenger car or rdc
