boom sprayer plans

Im thinking of fabricating a small boom sprayer (55 gal.) to go behind my ford 3000. I want it to be a 3pt. hitch piece. I know there are alot of really smart do it your selfers out there, and would like to see if anyone has any plans on how to make one. Thanks in advance. Frank

One thing I have heard is that if you plan to use Glyphosate (Roundup) don't have a steel tank.

Got a picture of that nozzle? Like 165 farmer asks- What's it take to use? Dad's been thinking about having me fab up a 3 pt. mounted sprayer for doing our corn and copy my brother's Oliver one, just scale it up a bit. A nozzle like that would make it a bit easier and cheaper to do.

One thing to keep in mind with a nozzle that sprays that far is that it doesn't atomize nearly as fine as a boom sprayer. It's a lot coarser spray pattern. Make sure that isn't an issue for you.
