Agreed to buy an Allis 160 today. It's light enough to easily float around and has a little loader. 2 hours on engine rebuild and new clutch.
It would appear I have no allegiance to any company: Fordson, Cockshutt, Deere, and now the Allis.
We'll probably sell the Allis in a year or two when we finally move to the farm property. At that time when we're a little more established I'll find something bigger and handier with mfwd.
I drive down Sunday to pick it up Monday morning, and then the long journey back. I'll post some pics once it's home.

Yup, originally from Thunder Bay, moved to Geraldton 12 years back. We own 160 acres just west of Kakabeka Falls. We're hoping to move back there by the fall of 2012. Grew up in Northwood.

went back to tbay and upsala area 10 years ago i forgot about the gators my arms got sore from slapping all the time there is not to much for gators where i am now i have seen one in upsala that landed on a power line and drank the water from the ditch
