Where to buy a splined shaft

I need a 1 3/8 splined shaft 30 inches long. Splines on one only. I know they must be out there but where can I look. Thanks Stan

Maybe get a new or used pto from an 8N ford. They are pretty long.

Spline as in how many?? Is it like a common PTO shaft or is it more like a clutch type?? Many types out there and I have seen many and have even taken and cut and made what I needed if low RPM

PTO shaft on a D17 Allis is also about three feet long.

I may have one on a old TO 20. Will the shafts just pull out,without losing the oil? I will check it tomorrow. I can deal with the splines being 1 1/8. This shaft is for my flail mower. The taper lock on the pulley loosened and the key fell out, and it spun, and ruined the shaft, and taperlock bushing. Thanks for the tip. Stan

Ok then maybe find an dead tractor and use the shaft form it to do as you need.

Surplus Center has 24 inch shafts.
They may have longer ones.
