O/T Things to do in Tucson, AZ?

Now yes I've tried google, just wondering if you all had any ideas of stuff to do in or near Tucson. I'm here for 3 months working but will have some weekends off. Any good ideas for stuff to do/things to see?

I live in Wichita KS but travel to Tucson frequently.

Drive up Mt. Lemmon and ride the ski lift all year around - great drive and view.

Go tour the old mission south of the city on the interstate to Nogales.

Go to Nogales if you don't mind the risk of the border towns right now.

Go south to Tombstone and Bisbee - make a weekend of it and stay at the Copper Queen hotel in Bisbee. Then get a ghost town book and check out ghost towns like Gleeson, just east of Tombstone.

Go to Old Tucson movie studio west of town.

Go to the cave tour east of town.

Go to the Pima Air Museum (terrific)

Check out the art colony at Tubac, south of town along the interstate.

Enjoy the gorgeous desert!

I can't wait to do the Pima Air Museum. I drive by it on my way to
work. Looks awesome! And I'll have to check out all the other stuff.
Thanks for the suggestions!

I'm headed out there this weekend. I have family that I'm staying with but I start work on Monday and they are all gone this week so was trying to find some neat stuff to do in the meantime. Thanks for all the replies

USA raceway. they covered the pavement with dirt. the mods in that area are some of the best anywhere. they kinda have a circuit with las cruces nm and elpaso tx.

I was stationed at Davis Monthan Air Force Base in the 60s. Be sure and take a hike up Sabino Canyon. There is a pool there that you can do high dives from the rocks, if you have the guts. I used to like to explore the desert too. Take plenty of water and don't get lost.
