Tire tube addition

I just got my tube to put in my back tire. The tire shop used that sealant to make it tubeless last time. Do I need to take that sealant out (figure could wash it out if I need to) or can I leave it in and just put my tube in and away I go?

Thanks.

Yep wash it out or the tube will be stuck to the tire and at times that can cause the tube to rip open and then you know what happens both a new tube the the time loss to repair the problem

Next question, should I put something on the bead so it pops up and seats like it is supposed to? Or will the tube push it into place?

The tube pushes the bead in place. Then let the air out again because the tube will be stretched near the bead if you don't.
