Like I said, wouldn't have even crossed my mind if I hadn't seen the posts on site comments.
Just to make it clear,I didn't leave because anybody said or did anything to me personally. Everybody knows I like a good argument as much as the next guy as long as it's about something in particular and not some personal crap. But that Sunday morning that I'd had enough was just the last straw. There was a huge blowup over who belonged here and who didn't and about half a dozen posts by people hiding down here to mock posts on other forums.
When I finally poked my nose in after Larry told me I needed to come down here and read the news about Les,it was like I never left. The same fight over who should be here and who shouldn't was still going on and there were another half dozen posts about other forum posts.
If somebody wants to have a conversation like we're doing now,I'm in. Otherwise I'll stay upstairs where there are arguments of substance over actual ideas or events.
End of sermon. I can live without the school girl drama.

no sermon here, I just find it funny that you say you can live without the school girl drama - that's the same thing that drove me down here. And I still go up there sometimes and even post occasionally but I skip a LOT of the posts because of the drama and "experts". You added some good humor to the posts down here at one time.

I slide over a lot too. There are some people whos post who I don't even bother to read since I know pretty much what they post about all the time and I'm not interested. Just look at the roll call here from the other day that was up when I first came back down here though,vs the people who actually post daily here. Quite a difference. Apparently I'm not the only one who quit finding anything here to participate in.
I've still got my sense of humor up there, but there wasn't anything funny going on here anymore. We can have a good time again if there's subject matter worth joking around about. There just wasn't anything funny about acting like a bunch of old hens at the beauty parlor.

I'll try it. I miss some of the conversations that used to go on around here, but no good conversation,no coming to the basement.
