YES! It is very effective on Carolina Horse nettle and what we call Bull nettle.

At one time our coastal bermuda field was loaded with Horse nettle. 99% of it is gone. The ones left survive because they are shorter than the bermuda and the spray doesn"t reach them very well.

We have used 2,4-D and rifle D in the past. Grazon is far more effective and we have switched to Grazon exclusively.

For grazing purposes, there is no wait time between spraying and grazing.

There is a 7 - 10 day wait to cut for forage.

Grazon was designed to allow grazing immediately. Do not use manure from livestock that have been fed forage treated with Grazon on your garden unless it has been composted for 18 months. The chemical passes through the digestive system, but will remain in the manure. It will kill your veggies unless you compost it for at least 18 months.

Mowing will not control nettle. Its a very hardy perennial. Under regular mowing, it mutates to a shorter, stubby plant.
