been lot talk about ramps and wench mounting so though i shares pic of the ramps that came on my trailer it a 1995 model earlish made in mt pleasant tex, i believe they went out of business in 96. also i mounted this wench 15,000 pound warn wench.

I may be all wrong, but when you put a load on the trailer with only one piviot point on the ramps don't they get a little tight to the ground when the load drops the trailer down.

You are correct that you can get into a situation where the ramps can be very difficult to lift. They are designed to come back off the ground as the load moves towards the front of the trailer, but, on uneven ground I have had to pull ahead a little once or twice to unload the ramps so that I could lift them.
