Having sold our 33+5, 22,00 gvw trailer last fall, and wanting to downsize to something smaller & lighter, this 2012 14,000 GVW 25+5 Coyote is what we ordered. Just got it last Friday. We haul tractors, but also a lot of antique equipment of all sizes. Most loads are not very heavy. A full width, spit gate ramp works better for us. The quality of the trailer really sold us. Thanks for all the trailer advice on this discussion board!

Chuck,

Any problems loading your tractors with the split loading gate as opposed to ramps? Traction, etc...

Bob, The base price for a standard 20+5 Coyote Manufacturing gooseneck trailer like this is around $6000. They are near Hillsboro Ohio. I added: 5ft of flat, winch mounting plate, 2x the number of stake pockets, (there is 30 pockets on each side, again, handy for what we do), the custom spring loaded split gate, and mid-span turn signals.

nice looking trailer, i like that somebody at the factory actually thought that somebody some day may need to get up on the front deck and included a step there, so an old guy doesnt bang up his knees trying to drag himself up on there, do those ramps on the rear have any kind of assist on them or are they fully manual?

The trailer has a side step on the front of each side. The split gate is spring loaded, with 2 heavy springs on each side, so 4 total springs. For ramps as heavy as they are, they are easy to lift. That was important to us, being easy to operate, and I think Coyote did a great job making what I wanted.

Also the "fit and finish" is outstanding. No sharp corners, beautiful welds, very nice powdercoat paint.

Since several guys have asked.... We bought the trailer from Lawrence Motorsports in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, just off the I-275 loop around Cincinnati. They are less than 10 miles from home. Mike there is great to work with, in both sales & service. Our family has used them for years.
