I didn't want to hyjack your other thread.
I used a friend's trailer with a remote controll winch. I found that it had quite a delay when you push the controll button.
Do the newer ones react quicker?

My remote controll react's pretty quick. It also comes with a 10 ft cord so you can run it both ways. Maybe his batterys were getting a little weak.

Don't worry about hyjacking my thread. Alot of people don't post ??? but they can learn from all the differnt question being asked. 8)

Have seen that same "lag" on my 3 winches and on a couple of friends units. I don"t like it as it is somewhat unpredictable. I have gone back to using an extra long (50") control cable. Just have to keep an eye on it.
