The ability to get the needed permits if needed and most of all the experience to haul what ever . Not some yaho with a pickup and goose neck that thinks he is a pro. Yea you will pay more but i do believe you will get a better bang for your buck. I bought my gooseneck and one ton for my own use to haul what i bought when i wanted it hauled . Yes i did haul a couple pieces for people and i Charged them what i felt was a fair price and at the time was a 1.50 a loaded mile . The ones i hauled for i knew them and considered them close friends. Had a lot of people stop by and asked about me hauling stuff for them and want to pay 50 bucks to go a couple hundred miles and got turned down fast , or we will pay your fuel , yea wright . when i needed something haule that was larger then my trailer would handle i would have it hauled by someone that had the equipment that was designed for that job haul it and pay them what they needed to do it . IF i bought a combine that needed a combine trailer and permits then that was the guy i needed and back then it was 2.50 a loaded mile plus permits then that is what i had to pay to get it moved . When it arrived at my location there was no damage to it i was happy the hauler was happy and it was delivered when he said it would be here. I would usually haul the grain head on my trailer and they would bring the corn head . Here are some companys that specialize in hauling that do this everyday . Cardinal trans, Combined, ATS, ICCI transport,Landstar,K G logistics, Mercer trucking ,Natco ,Transam transport,Turner trans port, Theses are just some of the few that have the step deck s and RGN's that can haul . In all cases the people I hauled for were forced to listen to several storys and were forced to tell a couple of their own stories. I still probly cheated them on the price. [Reply]  [No Email]

He ask what I would charge and I told him my fee and he said fine. I unloaded the tractor in his door yard and he shook my hand and thanked me. I started to tell him a story and he reached in his pocket and gave me a 20 dollar bill and said it was chore time. He must have already heard the story before. [Reply]  [No Email]
