What do you think of this truck? (PICS)

During my search for a flatbed to put on the back of my truck, a gentleman responded to my add on craigslist, and he said that he had a flatbed. Well the deal is he doesn't want to sell just the flatbed but the truck that its on too.

The truck is a 1999 Ford F250 Super-duty. It has a V10 and automatic transmission in it. The bed is a Winkel, and has a goose-neck ball and headache rack. The truck has 172,000 miles on it. Price wise, he threw out $3500, but he said to make an offer. He doesn't use the truck anymore as he has others on the farm. I have included some pictures of the truck. He said that it starts up and runs great, and it also has 4x4 that works good too. It has a used set of newer tires on it that he put on this last spring.

I was wondering what you all thought of on the deal?

I know I could get it for less then the price he threw out.

Your input is greatly appreciated!

If everything works, $3500 is a good price. The bed, used if for sale would bring at least $1000. Try $3200 and if he take it, both of you have a good deal. If you are strictly looking for a farm truck, otherwise the thing is damn ugly.

You done good! Irregardless of the cosmetics, it's a 3/4 ton truck with 4X4 and a V10. It'll pull anything. Good Deal

Yeah I looked it up, the light gauge ones are pretty competitive in price too. The wheel arches in my SD are rotten and we have safety inspections here. Selling my back rack and power tailgate would pay for the bed.
