Went to the State of Nebraska Surplus auction that they hold every year and purchased this 1989 Hornung Gooseneck Trailer. It is 16 Foot long and about 70 inches wide.

Hornung is the manufacturer, out of Chadron, Nebraska. This trailer was build by my great grandfather and his son Jimmy Hornung, my great uncle. I was always told that they built very good trailers. It is very cool to find one of their trailers and I know that it will last me along time. They were known for building trailers very well.

Payed $2400 for it. The deck is good and the tires have a lot of tread on them yet.

Once I get a truck equipped with a gooseneck ball setup, I will use it to haul cars, tractors and implements.

What do you think?

Thanks for reading!
