It has a Continental gas motor in it now. But i found a 671T detroit with a 13spd that i hope will fit nicely in her.

The 830 ought to look real nice behind her.

We've got a transportation museum up our way that hosts an antique truck and tractro show every July. I friend and I take something down there every few years.

More tractors lately and people there to appreciate them, which is nice. Though I've never been around them to have anything to do with them, I do admire the trucks. Whether their restored or in their workin' clothes, they're some fine machines. The oldest one I've seen for a big truck is an old chain-drive Sterling. But it's also the closest look I've everhad at the old Brockways and Dieselcars. Mister, there was some meat in those trucks! I'd think one front fender would weigh half what the tip-up hood would on a modern Pete.

plenty of potential with that one, but mentioned that gasser has to go, lol you wont like the gas milage, the detroit was a option in that rig so it will fit just have to rework the mounts and controles, should be able to pull anything you own with that

A friend had a series of "Brocks" for logging trucks some years back, He said they couldn't be beat for off road toughness. When he couldn't buy any more he went to Int'l. I don't recall seeing any with headlights like that.

Thanks for the encouragement!

A buddie of mine sold me a 671 today for 400$( i thought very cheap) so all thats left is to find a transmission and a bunch of work :)

Those fenders sure remind me of a model 500 Reo truck, did Brockway have any affiliation with Reo/White in the 1960/early 1970"s?

not sure about any affiliation with reo,

The Brockway factory was about 5 miles from where i live, and they used to buy their paint from the company i work for now! (kinda cool) :)
