Farmall Cub Tractor from Alabama to 100 mi across Texas Line

Hey guys. I have a gentleman by the name of Roy Smith out of Tomball, Texas intrested in a 59 Cub I have for sale; and is needing someone to deliver it to his farm in Milano, Texas. I live 20 minutes west of Birmingham, Alabama; and the tractor can be picked up here. It is just a Farmall Cub with a set of Cultivators mounted. There will also be a set of planters to go with it that will not be mounted; so its not that big of a load. It could actually fit in the back of a lwb pickup if it had to.

I am new to the "Cub Express" and have no doubt that all of you are nice, honest people; however he is a little concerned about getting it out there without something happening by the use of a non-professional (licensed) mover. He said he can pay a reasonable fee if the need be, as long as it is an honest deal; and he gets his tractor.

Hope you all can help he and I out, and I look forward to hearing back from you guys. He doesn't need it moved right away because I have to "restore" the set of planters he is wanting to buy; and that might take a few weeks. LET ME KNOW

Call Jim at 260-804-6695. He posts regularly on Allis Chalmers . com as "On-the_road_again". By following his posts, he cris crosses the country hauling tractors, cars, etc with a low boy on an F350 Ford.

Thanks so much for the info. This tractor has been sold to a man in Oregon. The guy in Texas is still wanting one, and I have a guy in Michigan and Maine currently wanting a Cub tractor also.

By this Spring I hope to have 16-18 tractors ready to go with attachments. I'm thankful you sent me this contact, and I'm sure it'll come in handy soon.

So when are you going to send us all checks for all this free advice you're getting to get this business off the ground? :)

Haha, there's no business. I just decided to take the tractor hobby to the next level as far as fixing them up, and as i do im selling a bunch of the collection to make room for new/different tractors and equipment. Believe me, there's no money made here!
