any one have a manufacturer they can recommend that would offer a hide away ball goose-neck hitch that could work on a 86 chevy?

As edj said below- B&W is the way to go. Had one in my 2000 Ford, and have one in my '08. The only complaint I have is the paint quality- falls off quick, and gets rusty. Can't see it from the outside, but they could do a better job.

(quoted from post at 19:23:00 01/24/10) Try the B&W Turnover Ball. I have one in my Dodge, it was a no-drill installation.

I installed a B&W in my 2001 K-3500 and I did have to drill one hole on each side. No big deal.

Hey toolz,
You missed some GOOD fish Saturday night. Served over 250 and made a little money for scholarships and sports programs!

Jim- Kinda forgot about that- would have liked to be there. I had a meeting in Springfield that afternoon about the new Farm Stock class we're trying to start up, and could have buzzed up there. You know what they say- the mind is the second thing to go...

B&W is the best, a shame they skimp on paint.. Expect the rails to be solid rust in 2 or 3 years.. A friend got one installed a few weeks ago, and had the shop to paint the rails of his in RhinoLiner coating,,, Good Idea, IMHO..

I have a Pop-up brand hitch and really like it. Pull the lever in the wheel well and the ball pops up, when thru push the lever and the ball drops back down, works great.

B&W is probably the way to go, as many have said! I have a "DrawTite" in my '04 Chev 3500 SRW. It is exactly the same as the "B&W", and the price is comparable! I would go with either, depending on availability and/or price!

B&W. I installed one in my F-350 last year and have been very pleased. Use it mostly for our 5th wheel. So far, no rust as others have noted (knock on wood).
