I am looking for a 14,000 gooseneck trailer. There must be a hundred brands out there. Which is your favorite and why? Any brands to avoid?

Thanks

I agree with Vernon. Ihave owned two of them. Excellent trailers. There is one made in southern Ohio, named the Coyotte which looks real good.

I have owned a Titan, made in KS or NE, just cannot remember. Was a good trailer. Now own a 14K tandem axle Advantage, which is made near Fort Wayne, IN. It is probably a little better trailer with a heavier frame. And it is powder coated! Sure looks better after a couple of years with that paint on it than any I've owned in the past 20 years. I would buy another if/when I need one.

I have a Load-Max by Load-Trail, and a Gatormade trailer. In my opinion, Gatormade Trailers in Somerset, KY is a great trailer. They have some standard features that are really handy. I went to the factory to get mine, saving me $$$. www.gatormade.com

I second that, Gatormade has the best paint -wiring and workmanship of about any trailer that I have seen. There are a lot of well built trailers out there but, they always seem to skimp on the wiring and paint.

I bought a new Gatormade gooseneck, 14k 20+5, back in 2004 and it has been a good trailer. Bought it direct from the factory.

I have a 20+5 2001 Corn Pro. It has been a VERY good trailer. I have hauled 13,000 on it several times and it handles it like a champ. I love the flex dove option too. Its great for hauling rolls of hay. I have several friends that have PJ trailers and I really like them too.

Precision Trailers from Manitoba Canada. Made by Hutterites, they use box beam instead of C-channel. Therefore, all wiring is nicely protected.
I couldn't afford the gooseneck, but the bumper-pull is beautiful.
