Brake controllers

Does anyone have experience with the new Tekonsha P3 Prodigy controller? I am looking to upgrade from what I have now and have decided on either the Prodigy or the newer Prodigy P3. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

Got the Prodigy a couple months ago. Installed without a hitch.

Bought a trailer and hauled it home empty for my first experience with electric brakes and found it was easy to adjust and work with. Its inertia function works well. Using the extra settings that effect when the brakes engage was useful. I found a number 1 setting worked well when I loaded a tractor this past weekend.

I have both the Prodigy and the P3, and both work GREAT. The truck I drive most now has the P3, it is maybe somewhat "smoother", more "hi-tech", but I think you would be happy with either. I got the P3 at good price online. As far as I know, they both have a lifetime warranty!
