Hey John, I just noticed this section and looked through some posts. You are one patient guy. Nice to see a voice of common sense, (Gee, ya mean I should check the regs?!), around here. My hats off to you sir!

Thanks Bret; That really means a lot that you said that.

While I have always been on the other side of the fence from you I have been in this business for longer than I want to remember. Almost long enough that I see windshields in my sleep and my hand has a permanent shape of a steering wheel.

I am really not that much of a patient guy in person but I do try to mind my manners when talking to people I really do not know. I also try to think ahead and pick the fights I can win.

Thanks again;
Be safe out on that highway.
You know all them truck drivers out there are crazy and will try to run over you if given half a chance.

I gotta agree that John sure does a fine job with the "good book" in hand.

I know John took the time with me to make sure I understood there is no difference in the DOT written law when your over that magical 10,000 limit. I sure was wanting to call myself non-commercial or private load when loaded too 26,000GCW with my own personal ag-tractors.

As it was, I was just lucky that I didn't get stopped and see that "DOT golden book" up front and personal...lol

Thanks again John!
