Gooseneck ball

I just bought this 95 GMC 1 ton and have not seen this type of hitch before. Quick search on the Web didn't find what I think I need. Does this style have a name? I'm trying to find the ball that fits this holder.

I had an old hitch my grandpas trailer that that ball was on the trailer fit in a whole then had a slider that locked the ball in

looks like a reverse of normal goose neck 2 5/16 ball hitch. one way to keep people from borrowing your trailer. Great idea

Cjunrau is correct, theyve welded a coupler head to the truck. Opposite of normal. I know its not terribly uncommon, though I dont know the reasoning. Im guessing its not something for road use.

It would make it more difficult for someone
to steal or want to borrow your trailer
with the hitch like that

Used to see some like that. 2 and 5/16 ball should fit it. just backwards from regular setups.
