Goose neck hitch

I am considering installing a gooseneck hitch in my 2004 gmc 3/4 truck.
Don't really want to cut a hole in my bed.
Ive been thinking about the rail that bolt in with your bed bolts.
Any one used these or had any experience with those style system.

Ive considered the gooseneck plate also.

All i would be hauling is two horses in a gooseneck horse trailer

Thanks for the input and information

I have had the flip over ball, under bed type in my truck for twelve years. I had to make a 3 and 3/4 hole but it sure is nice to have the hitch go away so easily.

I have the fifth wheel rails in my truck and use a gooseneck ball on them. It works fine. The only disadvantage is the rails in the bed are a pain sometimes. They were in it when I got it so thats what I use. I would prefer something under the bed.

I sell 6 different brands of Gooseneck hitches and have installed dozens and dozens of plates in the bed and under the bed. Get yourself a B and W. You will be glad you did. They are my number one seller by far. You cut one 4 in round hole in the bed or you drill 10 1/2 in holes in the bed and 6 or 8 in the frame for the rail kits. The B and W uses all the existing holes in the frame.

That is what mine is: B&W.

I have B&W?s on both my 350?s, nice clean install, work great and nothing in the way when flipped over

dad has the B & W hitch in both his trucks, mine had a plate in it when i got it. sure wish mine had the B & W. some times i wish it wouldn't have had a hitch in it then i could have done it right from the start and put in a B & W but since i have dads trucks available if i need the full flat bed i just deal with mine, makes it a pita when you want to haul something flat and the dang ball is in the way all the time. not only do you have to drill holes in the bed for the plate but if installed like they did the one in my truck you end up with all the ribs caved down where the plate is. to me its a no brainer, go with the best.

Turn over ball is best. You don't want a plate and rails. Can go online and get one for about half. My son and I put it in. Took about 30min. My FORD already had a flat place in bed and even a dimple for the hole saw.

I too like the B & W hitch, 3 pickups and one welded in the big truck so I can move goose necks or our inverted 5th wheel in a pinch. I won’t recommend any other hitch.
