I've been replacing the worn parts on my trailer, its a 18ft car trailer. I've replaced all the bushings in the springs and equalizers and also the shackle straps. My question is the shackle straps i got are about 3/4 of an inch longer than the originals. i was wondering if the longer straps will work ok , i want to make sure it will be ok as i got new tires and wheels too. thanks

I picked up parts for my trailer at Nuera transport in Nashua. You can see exactly what you are getting.

They may or may not work. There are many
different suspension hanger configurations
and most of the parts will bolt in. The
longer straps will lower your trailer some.
If you still have 3" between the trailer
frame and the closest part of the axle you
should be ok. Depends on the springs tho
because a few springs have more than 3" of
travel.
