The clutch on my "93 D-350 finally gave up the ghost after many tens of thousands of hard, heavy miles. However, in attempting to remove the shifter
to install a new clutch, those 2 little screws that hold the shifter to the top of the tranny gave us a problem. Both take a slotted-head screwdriver.
When we attempted to remove them, the head on one of them broke clean off. The head on the other one broke half off, but at least it came out. I hope
we can remove the shaft of the headless one with an Easy-Out. Either way, we will need 2 more of those same screws. I haven't yet been able to locate
a source. They are odd, about a half inch long, fine thread, about a quarter inch wide, and the bottom half of the shaft is smooth, i.e., no threads.
If any of you guys know where I could find a couple of these critters I would very much appreciate that info.
