While they were building my new trailer I had them put the third ramp on. The ramp and spring assist only cost me a $139.00 while they were building it. I wouldn't have a trailer without one.

I have, still do on occasion. Depends a lot on trailer height and tractor. Some will load easy on 2 ramps, some not so easy.

My big trailer has three ramps but my smaller one just two. I used to haul two NFE tractors on it with the front one backed on of course. I may have used a plank for the one that I backed on.

I've seen it done with 2 ramps. I even tried it myself one time, and I was succesful, but I much prefer using 3 ramps.

3 ramps for me too ! I made my center one so it can lay flat on the beaver tail and you can leave it there if only loading wide front tractors. The outer ones would not slide in real narrow IIRC ? so the center ramp worked out good for small things like lawn mowers.

I've done this multiple times. The trick is to start out 90 degrees to the trailer so the back tire will line up with the ramp, and then stand on that wheel brake and send the front wheels up the other ramp. Works slick once you get then hang of it. 3 ramps would of course be easier.

I do it all the time because I have three four cylinder NFE Fords and a two ramp trailer. I do it from a 45 degree angle. I just carefully get the front wheels started up the right ramp turned at a fairly sharp angle then just drive up straightening as I go. Every now and then at a show or a pull someone will look at me like I have two heads.

I've seen it done. For my stepdeck trailer the ramps have to be to long for that trick so I use the third one .It is about 3 feet shorter than the other 2. It is used for going from the bottom to the top deck in front.
