Hey im going to look at an 770 wide front tommorow. I want to know what trailer to bring and need the length and width on it. Cant find it online appreciate any help.

Depending on the tire setting on the width so that is a crap shoot. The length probably about 12 ft. I would not take a trailer with fenders if you are going to look and load .

TractorData says weight is 5500 to 9100 pounds. No dimensions on the 770, but the 880 Rowcrop says 94
inch wheelbase and 144 inch total length. Width could be up to 92 inches.

I'm surprised all you guys don't have TractorData bookmarked.

I ran a 770 diesel a little two summers when I was in college. Township road commissioner traded our old
JD R diesel for it. He used a heavy duty 5 ft PTO rototiller to chew up scarified oiled dirt roads. Ran
the R three summers and knocked the PTO out three times. 770 ran that rototiller for 20 years. I would not
have run the R, had my gut full of it the month I ran it doing spring fieldwork. The 770 howled like a
banshee in 6th gear going around the township and was slow compared to the Farmall's I was used to.

Frankly, I find the wildly outlandish and inaccurate opinions of some frequent posters on different topics
on this website humorous but not based in anyway on facts. TractorData does have lots of accurate
information, and access to Nebraska test reports which I hope you don't think are inaccurate.

I bet people have looked up the wrong versions of tractors like utility or standard tread or Wheatland
tractors, maybe even hi-Clear, when they wanted info on a rowcrop. That's not TractorData's fault!
