I have a 16, F250, 6.2 gas 4x4. Can't get
rid of message. Except to hit reset every
ti me I start it. Book says to turn key on
and then push brake and accelerator at
same time. After 2 seconds something will
appear then 20? Some seconds will say
finished. Doesn't do anything except say
to say. Oil change required. I have
changed oil twice now. Help!

I just reset mine last week. Has nothing to do with the pedals. One of the screens in the dashboard: coupled with the buttons in the left side of the steering wheel will get the job done. Had to play with it a bit to get the right screen. Good luck. If you don't get it: post again and I will look at mine and figure out how I did it.

Tried the reset buttons on left of the steering wheel. Not worked yet. But will get my son or daughter to try it. Thanks.

Vic : with key on: use left button to get menu. Down button to settings: push down to "vehicle": push right button to go to settings: down5 times to oil life reset :right button will give you options : scroll down to the %you want and hit "ok " (center button ). Use left button 3 times to get back t main menu.

It has gone away. Don't know if I did it or if it just got tired and went away. But it was the cruise control buttons on the left of the steering wheel. My book is wrong! Thanks for the help

I own a Ford and a Chevy and the reset procedure is the same for both. I have the dealer do the oil changes.

YEP!! That's how I do it. Doesn't cost any more than doing it myself either.
