Drive over fender trailers

I've built several over the years and they worked good for some stuff. Not a good design for things that are flat like hay or palleted things. For tractors and skid loaders they work good, not so good for plows and discs. As with most trailer designs it's a trade off and depends on where your priorities are. The only sure thing about trailers is the perfect one has not been designed yet.

and remember "drive over" is relative to just what you plan to drive over them with, some of the big semi trailers we used to transport equipment with had them, they work fine for large trucks or medium size tractors, heavy stuff like dozers or excavators approaching 100,000lbs, umm, not so much , yep every company has "that guy"

I am with jon,I have a PJ with drive over fenders and it is great for tractor hauling but not so much for hay. It is a 20" with a dove tail and for hauling hay it would work better to make some fillers for the fenders and the dove tail or stack higher. I like the low deck height.

I've built quite a few and always manage to come up just short of perfection. Maybe next time tho.

I have used several different kinds of trailers and can honestly say if it want fit on a car hauler , I want a deckover not a fender over . There are a few deckover trailers built low to the ground it floor height is a factor.

I too have used that kind of haulers quite often. But now it makes difficult for me to continue hauling with that kind of spirit. So looking for some reputed auto shipping contractor which can safely and securely do the hauling task for me in a smooth manner.
