Beaver tail trailer

I'm looking for someone that could tell me
the angle iron spacing and the size of angle
iron they have on your Beaver tail. Mine
had wood. Going to put angle iron on.
Thank you

Without going to look, I would say that on my 22,400 they are three inch, twelve inches apart.

I have a 14,000 lb. low profile with 3 ft. beaver tail. The angles are 2 " and set at 5 1/2" center to center.

Now that it is daylight I went and measured. I was way off, two inch stock on 5.5 centers.

2" should give you about the same thickness as your boards were. Use at least 3/16" thickness. The ones I did like that I used 2 1/2 x 1/4 at 6" spacing. The wider the spacing the heavier you need to go to carry the weight of course. A support between and parallel to the main rails if you don't have one will allow for lighter and smaller angles which will be smoother for loading. Everything is a compromise on a deal like this.
