In my area used dump trailers are rusted out junk and/or grossly overpriced. For what people usually want for a 10 year old dumper, I can get a brand new Appalachian.
I've done some research on the Appalachian brand and it seems like nobody has had any substantial problems with the trailers. There's a lot of "you get what you pay for" statements made, but never any reports of problems with the trailers. The biggest complaint is paint, but for $2500, I can buy a lot of paint.
I don't plan on using the trailer heavily, it's just something handy to move brush, firewood, a few loads of gravel, maybe a load of scrap steel, and my neighbor's compact backhoe.
Anybody with direct experience with their dump trailers?
They also offer a cash discount. Any ideas on how much that might be?
