Champion trailer

So I have the opportunity to buy a 2000 champion 20 car trailer. Supposedly 10k capacity, brakes on one axle, 2 5/16 ball and the back 4 feet of the deck slope down (beaver tail?). Supposedly only used for 3-4 times. Stored inside, but has had a farmall on it for who knows how many years. Tires are shot as they have been sitting half inflated for a long time. What kind of value is there in it?

OK, then I guess it might have it on both asked. Guess the seller was wrong, but makes sense to have on both.

I agree, make sure brakes on one axle is legal in your state and where you will travel, most states it is not but some states allow it. Also I Googled champion, unless there are two companies you are getting a home built trailer from a kit.

I only know about trailers in the 7000# size. Ohio does require only on one axle but Indiana requires on both for trailers sold there. But as long as it is licenced in Ohio and meets Ohio requirements you are legal to go to Indiana with them.

Used 4 or 4 times? It ought to look like new other than dust then. If so then $ 2,000 would be a great deal for buying. If a dealer had it he would ask $ 2995.00 .
