Trailer Towing

I have a new F-350 6.7 Diesel single wheel, quad cab long bed and need opinion on if Big Tex 20+5 dual tandem with 5300# weight will be a problem when I have 10,000# load?

It will pull twice as much. Just went to Tunica tractor pull with one pulling 10000lb. On a 20000 lb. Trailer with a Hyd. Dove tail. Will hold 75 on any hill here in mid west. 11.2 mpg.

I have been pulling a 22,400 with my '06 F-350 SRW with 6.0 for 8-9 years no problem. with the engine braking it stops it very easily, even when loaded to legal limit.

Is that a bumper pull or gooseneck trailer?

Your manual will call out pulling limits, regardless of what people say here.

Don't see where anyone said to disregard mfg's specs.

If your combined weight rating (truck+trailer) is over 26000 lbs, you need a CDL A OR Non-CDL A ORRR get farm tags and stay within 150 miles.

I have a F250 with 6.7 SRW pulling a 34' hydraulic dove tail 20K Load Max hauling 2 US Bs and a 330. Finally got someone to get my truck running right after River City REALLY SCREWED it up plus am getting better mileage finally. I pull a 4 box Unverferth seed tender thats a good load also and my 580K hoe.
