Torque tube / Electric over hyd. brakes

Would like some opinions or experiences on torque tubes on GN trailers. One local dealer recommends no torque tube. I usually haul two pullers weighing 15000 lbs. combined. The other is electric over hyd. brakes verses electric. I know the hyd. will brake better I was wondering how dependable the system is in the long run as far as the pump needing replacement and cost. Thinking about buying 30' GN trailer with duals. Thanks for your opinions.

I have had two trailers with electric over hyd disc brakes. Never had a problem. I change the fluid and hoses every 2-3 years. I think the torque is a good option. At 15000 you probably do not need one, but would not hurt. I have one but sometimes haul over 24000#.

10 ton titan gooseneck at work, has a 1300 gallon tank over the axles, 4 totes for chemical at the front of the deck. No need for a torque tube.

10 ton of another brand with a seed tender on front really should have had one. Have to load it perfectly centered and it still twists the frame pretty good.

And no, they don't get pulled with a pickup unless the 3 semis are in use or broke down.
